Franchise training programs look different for every business and are influenced by a number of factors such as budget, industry, and time. Nonetheless, a common trait amongst most programs is that you receive training that encompasses the basics of management, finance, operations, and recruitment of employees. This is super important for the franchisee, but also the franchisor as it is in their best interest to equip their new owners with the skills to effectively represent the business and keep the company profitable. WHAT ABOUT GYM SKILLS TRAINING? 

At the young age of 19, Kenny Crump embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by opening a mobile gym business. Devoid of any prior business experience, Kenny started a relentless pursuit of knowledge, gradually building up his skills to grow the business. After three years of unwavering pursuit, Gym Skills unveiled its first physical location in 2008. Nearly 10 years later, Kenny guided Lisa Wu in the opening of Gym Skills Cincinnati. Inspired by the success achieved with Gym Skills Cincinnati, the decision to transition into a franchising company was made in 2020. Propelled by years of fine tuning and challenges such as Covid-19, Gym Skills drew from all 18 years of experience to create an exceptional training program that embodies our resolute commitment to the success and growth of our community.

Once the steps to ownership are complete, our team will initiate our comprehensive training program that is designed specifically for the core principles of your franchising model. Mobile gym owners will undergo an involved 5-day program spanning 40 hours, with 8 hours dedicated to on-the-job training. Physical location franchisees will begin a 7-day program that spans 56 hours and includes an immersive on-the-job training experience for 12 hours of the program.

Following the completion of the training program, our ongoing support extends far beyond the basics. We firmly believe in maintaining strong communication channels and being readily available to assist you whenever needed. Our team will remain at your side while providing you with additional training, valuable learning opportunities, insightful coaching tips, as well as a dependable office team to address operational and financial inquiries for your location.
